A long-standing tradition, the State Fair of Texas has been a beloved event since 1886. From fried butter to smokey bacon margaritas, from longhorns to goats, from music by the U.S. Marine Drum & Bugle Corps to classic Country bands, from auto shows to chili cook-offs, from thrilling rides to the beer garden – the Texas State Fair has something for everyone!
Celebrating all things Texan, the Texas State Fair runs for 24 days, making it the longest running state fair in the county. At the historic Fair Park in Dallas, you can see Big Tex in all his glory and experience the best of Texas from September 30 – October 23, 2016.

Daily admission price is $18 per person. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time at your local Kroger or online. Daily parking is $15.
